A UK supplier of research peptides
PXP Peptides supplies lyophilised research peptides and laboratory consumables to research customers in the United Kingdom. Everything listed here is supplied for laboratory research use only.
Precision
Listings carry the compound and the vial contents in milligrams. The CAS number, formula, mass and purity by HPLC are measured per batch and printed on that batch's certificate.
Purity
Purity is quoted from the batch's certificate of analysis, by HPLC, with identity confirmed by mass spectrometry.
UK based
Stock is held in the UK and despatched from Glasgow, so there is no import step between us and a UK laboratory.
A supply business, and only that
PXP buys research-grade peptides and laboratory consumables, holds them in the United Kingdom, and supplies them to research customers here. We do not synthesise anything ourselves, and we do not claim to.
Each batch is bought against a written specification and arrives with the manufacturer's certificate of analysis. We record the batch number, the certificate and the date of receipt against the stock we hold, so every vial that leaves here can be traced back to the analysis it was supplied under.
Holding stock in the UK is the practical reason for buying from us rather than direct. A vial already in the country arrives on a domestic courier with no customs step, and it does not spend an unrecorded fortnight in transit at an unknown temperature. Lyophilised material is held at −20 °C and protected from light.
Orders are quoted, confirmed and paid for one at a time. You put a basket together, the checkout settles stock, batch and price, and payment is a bank transfer from your own account, and this site takes no card details at any point. How ordering works is set out below, and the FAQ answers the questions around it.
How a batch gets onto the shelf
Three steps, and a batch that fails one of them does not get listed. Purity and testing sets out what HPLC and mass spectrometry actually establish, what a certificate of analysis contains, and how to request the certificate for a batch.
-
1
Bought to specification
Every line is bought against a written specification: the peptide, the minimum purity, the vial contents and the physical form. A batch that does not meet the specification is not accepted, and nothing is listed that we cannot supply a certificate of analysis for.
-
2
Checked against its certificate
Each batch arrives with a certificate of analysis stating purity by HPLC and identity by mass spectrometry. We check the certificate against the specification and against what is printed on the vial before the batch is released for sale.
-
3
Stored, numbered and traceable
Stock is stored at −20 °C, protected from light, and held under its batch number. We can tell you which batch you were supplied on and send you its certificate.
What is in the box
Every order leaves with the paperwork that lets you check what you have been sent, and match it back to the record it was tested against.
- The vial
- Sealed, and labelled with the product name and the contents in milligrams.
- Batch number
- Every vial carries the number of the batch it was filled from, so the material in your hand can be traced to the batch its certificate was issued against.
- Certificate of analysis
- Purity by HPLC and identity by mass spectrometry, issued against the batch. Ask us for the certificate covering any batch and we will send it.
- Despatch
- Packed with the despatch note enclosed and sent from the UK. Despatch runs working day, with a 15:00 cut-off.
How ordering works
There are no card payments on this site. You pay by bank transfer at the checkout, approved in your own banking app.
-
1
Choose what you need
Add products to the basket from the shop or from a product page. The basket keeps what you chose between visits, and the totals it shows are indicative until the order is priced.
-
2
Confirm your order
The checkout asks for your details, a delivery address, and a confirmation that you are 18 or over and ordering for laboratory research. Stock and the final price are settled before anything is paid.
-
3
Pay from your bank
The payment goes straight from your account to ours, approved in your banking app. No card number, no expiry, no CVV. Once it has cleared, the order is packed and sent out with its paperwork.
Who we supply
We supply institutions and businesses doing laboratory work, on invoice or against a purchase order, and individuals ordering for their own research. What we do not supply is an order intended for a person or an animal.
What we hold ourselves to
Four rules, written down because they are the ones a supplier in this trade is under most pressure to bend.
Facts, not effects
A listing carries the compound and what is in the vial; the certificate of analysis for your batch carries the CAS number, molecular formula, mass and purity — a measurement of that batch rather than a claim about the range. Neither says what a peptide does, because that is the researcher's question to answer and not ours to advertise.
Every vial ties to a batch
Nothing is listed that has no certificate of analysis behind it, and nothing is despatched that we cannot tie back to a batch number and a date.
No borrowed credentials
Where a claim would need a certification or an accreditation behind it, we either have the paperwork or we do not make the claim.
A plain answer, including no
There are questions about these materials we will not answer. When that is the case we say so, rather than hedging into something that could be read as advice.
What PXP will not do
We do not supply anybody buying for use in or on a person or an animal. That is not a formality and it is not a box to click past: everything listed here is a research chemical, sold on the basis that it is going into laboratory work, and where an order makes clear the material is intended for a person or an animal we cancel it and refund it.
Nor do we answer the questions that tend to follow. These are the requests a research peptide supplier gets every week, and there is one answer to all of them.
- We will not describe what a peptide does in a person or an animal, and nothing on this site says so.
- We will not give a quantity, a method, a route or a schedule for using this material. Method belongs to the researcher and their institution.
- We will not compare anything we supply to a licensed medicine.
- We will not knowingly supply an order that is for use in or on a person or an animal.
- We will not publish a testimonial, a result, or a photograph of a person.
- We will not claim a certification, an accreditation or a partner we do not have.
If that reads as unhelpful, it is the same reason the paperwork is worth something: a supplier who will say anything about their material is a supplier whose certificates mean nothing.

Supplied for laboratory research, and nothing else
Research use only. Not for human or veterinary consumption, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use, and not a medicine or a food.
If you are buying for a laboratory, a university or a research organisation, we are glad to quote. Tell us the peptide, the quantity and the timescale. If you are buying for yourself, we are not the right supplier, and the FAQ and the research-use policy both say so in plain terms.
